Very helpful travel organisation. They arranged the perfect custom made tour for us! We went on a 5 day hike in the middle of nowhere with a 6 wheel truck a cook and a guide. Food was good! We sa active volcanoes and own camp got over run by bears. Guide was on the watch the whole night and made it all safe for us. Something you want to happen in Kamchatka! Best trip ever!

I posted reviews shortly after my trip and I just noticed that none appeared. This was my third trip to Kamchatka for trekking and such, and my first time staying in Yelizovo. I visited for 2 weeks in late August and early September of 2014, flying round-trip between Anchorage and Petropavlovsk on Yakutia Airlines. I stayed in Martha and her husband's B&B for a couple of nights before my trek started. Martha moved here many years ago from Alaska. The house has several rooms for guests. Everything was neat, clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts featured a selection of fresh fruits, cereals and freshly cooked items. With a few free days before my trek, Martha arranged for some local tours (one was a boat tour of the bay) and transportation. On the main road from Martha's B&B is a bus stop for regular service to Yelizovo (for 15 Rubles or so) and back. About 1km, on the main road, is a nice restaurant "Старый замок" or "Old Castle" with menus in English. A short walk in back of Martha's is the Avacha River, where I observed considerable salmon "fishing" activity. In summary, a very enjoyable stay in an amazing part of the world!
