GAMMA TRAVEL - official tours to Chernobyl zone

Have you ever wanted to visit the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and maybe take breathtaking photos? That's the best way to do it! I suggest you a private tour with Gamma Travel (I did one few days ago with a friend of mine, both from Italy). The private tour is for sure the best way to visit the zone, especially for the ones who want to see special location. The guide, Nikolai it's well prepared and pleasant. Just tell him what are your main interest of the visit and he will show you. Nikolai is a very well informed guide who speaks perfect English and 'gets' English humour � I have had the pleasure of 4 trips to The Zone with Nikolai and wouldn't choose anyone else. Nikolai will tailor the trip to your interests and will suggest areas you may not have been aware of. As a keen photographer Nikolai knows all the best vantage points and times of day to help you take the best shots but, if like me, you prefer to just walk in the silence of The Zone that can also be arranged. I really cannot recommend him highly enough.

I took a 3 day tour and it was incredible! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions from memory. We were in charge of what we wanted to see which was great. The hotel and food was also a awesome experience! A+ trip!!!!! Can’t wait to get back! I didn’t think it was going to be a repeat trip thing before hand but it definitely is! Just a amazing experience, if you are into this kind of photography or the history this is definitely the tour you want to pick!

I took a 2-day Chernobyl tour with Nikolai and I couldn't be more satisfied. Nikolai is everything a good guide needs to be - he has perfect knowledge about the place and it's history, is friendly and talkative with a good sense of humor, also he speaks perfect English. As he is an amateur photographer himself, he will be a good choice for all kinds of photographers willing to capture the unique spirit of the exclusion zone. I also recommend Nikolai and his company for nuclear industry professionals! If you are interested in this sort of things, I also recommend a visit of the Strategic missile forces museum in south of Ukraine. The only obstacle is a several-hour drive from Kiev. Furthermore, I strongly recommend to take a Kiev city tour with Tana. It would be a shame not to reserve a bit of time to get to know with this surprisingly lively and interesting city!

After a lot of awesome trips to the Chernobyl Zone I still can say that I would never choose another guide or agency then Gamma Travel. Nikolai speaks brilliant English and is very well informed about everything whats is going on in the Zone. He knows all the history and is very flexible with the schedule. He is a passioned photographer and also loves exploring new stuff in the Zone. Each trip had been an amazing adventure - can't wait for my next Tour!
