Red Star Hostel & Camping

Red star hostel is an amazing place to stay in Tiraspol. Dmitri is the best guide you can hope to meet. The hostel is a very quiet peaceful, clean place and it was really great moments here. Not a place to party hard though, more adapted to meditation calm and enjoying nature before touring around. Thank you very much for this warm welcome, the conversation and the advices !

Het hangt ervan af wat je voor ogen hebt, maar dit was echt mooi. We hadden het bijna nieuwe huisje voor ons tweeën (4 slaapplekken) en het is heerlijk rustig. Tiraspol is niet zo groot, alles was op loopafstand. In de avond genoten van het mooie zicht over de tuin en lekker buiten gezeten. Wel even maatregelen nemen tegen muggen. Deur dichthouden (er zitten horren voor de ramen). Wij hebben binnen geen mug gezien. Verder behulpzame eigenaar. Prima! Waarom geen vijf sterren? Lastig, maar er blijft altijd wel iets te wensen over. Zo kost het enige moeite de douche op de juiste temperatuur te houden. Maar dit is een aanrader!

Dmitri was very hospitable to me. Even I have called just few hours before my arrival, he accepted me to be his guest. He offered me everything I needed: warm shower, electricity, Wi-Fi, nice place for tent. I felt very good there. Thank you so much!

We were very happy with our stay at the Red Star! Dmitri is a fantastic, personable, reliable host. He made sure that we were comfortable and spent time showing us all of the beautiful features of our accommodations. I especially appreciated Dmitri's artistry throughout- woodwork and design are found through the house and property, making it unique and memorable. The outdoor shower was so pleasant in the heat of the day. We loved the fresh fruit trees and vines, the private yard with lush green grass that ends with a vast open sky, and the plentiful light within the house itself. The beds were comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom. We only wish we could stay longer! I hope to return to Red Star one day.
