We had a very bad experience at Sixt. They make bogus claims and will do everything they can to extract extra money from you. Beware of the particular trap created by them to improve the sales revenue - so called " 10-15 cm scratch under the bumper". When renting the car you absolutely must go on your knees and go as much as you can under the car to check if there are any scratches underneath. If you fail to do this, you are in for a surprise scratch when returning the car which will may cost you as much as EUR 150. Avoid Sixt at all costs. We were very disappointed with the way they treat honest people who play by the rules and always show respect. Poor service and attitude.

Be ready for various issues both at pick up and drop off, ranging from "we don't know how it happened" price difference to what it was while booking to borderline fraud when they know you don't have time to argue. Better go somewhere else.
