Very nice place to stay in Khorog, perfect location, great breakfast and awesome atmosphere. The host is incredibly helpful and hospitable, she gave us a lot of valueable tips and contact to local Guide. I am sure, the next time i will come to Khorog, i will stay at Welcome Inn

What a fantastic new hostel to stay in while in Khorog! My girlfriend and I had been in contact with one of the three sisters that run this wonderful family-owned little hostel, and were delighted with our stay there, so much so that we recommended it to every cyclist we met down the road. With two rooms and 8 beds total, this is the perfect place to have some privacy, but get to know other travelers at the same time. All three sisters are nice, and have a lot of knowledge about the area, local culture and Tajikistan as a whole. They prepared very tasty dinner (ask for Kurutob) and (pancake!) breakfast for us, together with coffee and tea that’s always available. They have 24/7 electricity, are located very central but a bit hidden at the same time - have sufficient bike storage and a hot shower. Since Khorog has a pretty poor network because of corrupted providers, the wifi is quite slow but usable. Don’t try to upload anything! Overall, this is probably one of the better hostels to stay in while coming through Khorog, and we recommend it thoroughly.

Shania and her two sisters are amazing hosts, so fun an friendly. They made delicious korotub, a vegetarian national dish. Shania used to work for the tajik tourism office and knows a lot about the country and traveling it. She entertained us with very interesting stories and made us change our onwards travel plans, for which we are very grateful. There can't be a better stay in Khorug!
